We have begun offering workshop and exam sessions. Class sizes will remain limited and additional sessions are being offered as needed. We continue to follow CDC guidelines for personal contact situations. Attendees are required to remain at least 6 feet apart. Tables and equipment are wiped down between uses. Please wear masks and wash hands frequently or use hand sanitizer.
Please do not attend sessions if your are sick or have been exposed to anyone with COVID 19.
If you cannot attend a session that you have been scheduled due to a restricted travel company policy or you are sick, we will gladly reschedule you for a future session.

The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent emergency actions have caused many disruptions, including rescheduling of ACI Certification education and exam sessions to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. These actions may result in the expiration of ACI Certification of individuals seeking recertification before the rescheduled session takes place. As a result, ACI has been asked to extend certifications so that individuals may remain in compliance with project requirements as they await recertification testing; for a number of reasons, ACI has determined that extending certifications is not the best solution.
ACI believes the EOR/Specifier is the proper individual to review a technician’s credentials and determine if a waiver is warranted/appropriate. This can then be documented in the project files along with an explanation referencing recertification difficulties due to COVID-19 disruptions.

The CMEC Laboratory Accreditation Program provides laboratory assessments, quality management system evaluations, and accreditation for construction material testing laboratories seeking AASHTO R18, ASTM E329, and ISO/IEC 17025.
The CMEC Production Facility Accreditation Program establishes a consistent recognized level of competence that demonstrates a company’s commitment to the improvement of the production of construction materials.
CMEC offers review workshops for all certification and qualification exams. Workshops can include in depth specification and method review as well as hands on demonstrations of test procedures.
ACI - Cement Physical Tester: An ACI certified Cement Physical Tester is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform, record, and report the results of specific ASTM tests on the physical properties of cementitious materials.
ACI - Self Consolidating Concrete Testing Technician: A Self-Consolidating Concrete Testing Technician is an individual who has demonstrated the knowledge of and ability to properly perform five standard test methods and practices on self-consolidating concrete.
ACI has announced the launch of a new program for U.S. military veterans who obtain an ACI certification. Funded through a generous contribution from CMEC Holdings, to the ACI Foundation, the program provides rebates of $250 to help ease the financial burden of earning an ACI certification in one of ACI’s certification programs.
